Treatment starts with taking rest and drinking lot of fluids. Antibiotics prove to be effective too. Erythromycin, zithromax, biaxin and tetracycline can be powerful against walking pneumonia. Cephalosporins and amoxil have proven to be ineffective against walking pneumonia infection.
