Treatment would be rest and intake of plenty of fluids if it’s viral. Prescription for inhaled bronchodilator or cough syrup might also help. Inhaled or oral steroids can reduce inflammation in chronic bronchitis. Additional supply of oxygen can also help in case of chronic bronchitis
