Diagnosis first starts with the observation of the symptoms visible. Then you might have to undergo chest x-ray and sputum or culture test. Culture test reports take time for revealing the results. Even an m.pneumoniae test or a CF antibody test can help in diagnosis. However, since it’s uncomplicated, all the tests are not routinely done for all patients.
